Crash is a well-established biannual from France of considerable intelligence and pedigree, not to mention a very healthy circulation.

Founded by art theorists Frank Perrin and Armelle Leturcq in 1998, Crash believes that fashion is both emblematic of and driven by cultural mores in contemporary society. It seves up a balanced mix of progressive couture, art, music and cinema, with a keen eye on the upcoming or the next big thing.

In this issue:

Crash 96, The Resistance Issue is 336 pages of fashion, art, interviews and more. In this latest issue discover photos by the legendary Bruce Gilden shot in New York City. Also inside are exquisite fashion series in black and white and on polaroid film; interviews and photoshoots with rising stars Lucie Zhang, Sandor Funtek, Makita Samba and more; an in depth interview with Noomi Rapace about her modest upbringing, her career and her most recent project, « Black Crab, » just released on Netflix; designer profiles and interviews with musicians Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul, Rad Cartier, Hanabi the K and Crystal Murray. Also to be found in Crash 96 is a meeting with Takahiro Kinoshita, editor in chief of Uniqlo’s LifeWear Magazine and architect Rudy Ricciotti, an A to Z on our era by philosopher Julia Kristeva written exclusively for Crash and a detachable portfolio of the most recent work of artist (and Crash’s own) Frank Perrin.
