Little White Lies was established in 2005 as a bi-monthly print magazine committed to championing great movies and the talented people who make them.
In this issue:
The focus for this latest issue is ‘The Testament of Ann Lee,’ Mona Fastvold’s meta musical about one of the founders of the Shaker movement. Fastvold, star Amanda Seyfreid and composer Daniel Blunberg are each interviewed, cinema’s history of religious storytelling is celebrated, and there’s an FAQ guide to celluloid and projection, reflecting the director’s love of analogue filmmaking and showing (the new film was shot 35mm stock.)
Plus a look back at 2025’s movies and reviews of new releases, including ‘100 Nights of Hero,’ ‘Peter Hujar’s Day,’ ‘If I Had Legs I’d Kick You,’ and more.
